CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Another week of competition for Little Rock's Mia Dunning and another win for the Wisconsin native. Dunning set a new school record to win the hammer throw and finished second in the shot put at the Miami Hurricanes Invitational Saturday.
Dunning led a standout day for Little Rock as the Trojans compiled five wins in all and 18 finishes in the top three, surprising the host Hurricanes in several meets.
Her throw of 177-3 (54.02m) set a new school record in the hammer throw as she claimed gold while finishing second in the shot put with a mark of 43-4.
