BOSTON, Ma. - Little Rock sophomore guard Markquis Nowell has been added to the 2019-20 Lou Henson Player of the Year Midseason Watch List, announced by CollegeInsider.com. The Lou Henson Award is given annually to the nation's top Division I mid-major player.
Nowell has been the floor general for Little Rock in 2019-20, helping lead the Trojans to an 11-7 overall record and a 5-2 mark in Sun Belt play, sitting tied for first in the league standings. A two-time Sun Belt Player of the Week, Nowell ranks second in the league in scoring at 18.
