LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans' unbeaten streak of eight games came to an end when they fell to Appalachian State on the road by the score of 3-1. Little Rock seemed to be off the pace in the second half after a long road trip.
Jaclyn Purvine opened the scoring in the 24th minute when she was sent through on goal. The senior's initial shot was saved but she showed composure to collect the rebound and put the ball into the back of the net. Purvine's 10th goal of 2018 makes her the first Little Rock player to record double-digit goals in a season since 2008.
