COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Little Rock freshman Johnathan Jones matched performances by athletes from Iowa and Texas A&M as the Trojan high jumper finished tied for 36th at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in College Station Friday afternoon.
Jones cleared a height of 6-9 (2.06m) as he equaled the performance of Iowa's Zack Pluff and Texas A&M's Mason Corbin in the meet.
