CONWAY, Ark. – Little Rock won 14 gold medals, seven of which came from the women in an effort that saw them beat UCA and win the Richard Martin Jr Invitational as action wrapped up in the annual track meet in Conway Saturday afternoon.
In all, the Little Rock women scored 268 points to beat UCA's effort of 221 points while UA Pine Bluff scored 109 points. On the men's side, Little Rock scored 193 points to finish second, ahead of UA Pine Bluff's 97 points while UCA won with 267 points.
Of the 18 medalists and numerous scorers for the Trojan women on Saturday that propelled Little Rock to the win, it was the 200m that stood out above all.
