BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock athletes Janae Largins, TaVieon Neal and Takia Palmer combined to receive four awards Wednesday as the Ohio Valley Conference announced its weekly track and field awards.
The OVC recognized Largins as the league's Female Field Athlete of the Week, Neal claimed Male Track Athlete of the Week honors while Palmer was named the conference's Female Track and Female Freshman of the Week.
Largins set a new career-best mark in the shot put last weekend as she claimed the bronze medal at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
