LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock's Johnathan Jones and Ryan Curington have both extended their freshman seasons as the pair of Trojan student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the high jump and the long jump, respectively.
This will be the first time both student-athletes will advance to the NCAA postseason and mark Little Rock's return to the preliminary championship round for the first time since 2018.
Jones finished the season ranked 18thth on the West Prelims performance list after his mark of 7-1 (2.16m) on April 10 set a new school record.
