LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – scored the only goal of the game and Little Rock tied a program record with its fourth consecutive clean sheet as the Trojans defeated Louisiana Tech, 1-0, Friday evening at the Coleman Sports Complex.
Young scored on a penalty kick after being fouled in the box in the 49 minute, drilling the free shot past the Louisiana Tech keeper into the right side of the net. The redshirt junior from Ontario, Canada recorded her first career game-winning goal and her second goal of the season. She is the first to score on a penalty kick for the Trojans (2-2-2) this season.
