HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – Little Rock sits 13th after the opening round of the 2018 Little Rock Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club. The Trojans posted a 27-over 315 on day one, sitting 13th among the 16-team field.

The Little Rock effort was led by 4-over 76 from senior Emelie Blennow, who is tied for 24th individually after 18 holes. Freshman Kellie Gachaga was the only other Trojan to notch a sub-80 round, shooting a 7-over 79 in her first tournament at Diamante.
