LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – led the Trojans with 14 kills, registered a double-double but UT Arlington made sure defense reigned supreme as Little Rock dropped a 3-1 decision Saturday evening at the Jack Stephens Center.
Little Rock (11-10, 2-7 Sun Belt) was limited to .125 hitting in the match and was out-dug by UTA, 73-55, as the Mavericks (5-12, 3-5) pulled their first Sun Belt weekend sweep of the season. Set scores were 25-23,22-25, 25-18 and 25-17.
The Trojans were paced by 14 kills but she hit just .113 as UTA continually stymied the Little Rock attack.
