JONESBORO, Ark. – put down 10 kills and hit .429 but Little Rock dropped its season opener in a 3-0 loss to Saint Louis in the first match of the A-State Invitational Friday morning.
Both teams struggled offensively as Little Rock only hit .112 compared to the Billikens' mark of .176 but Saint Louis (1-0) was able to escape the first two sets by the closest of margins before clinching the match in the final set. Set scores were 25-23, 25-23 and 25-14.
