BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – registered 12 kills and Daedrianna Cail hit .455 but the Trojans were out-hit and out-served in a straight set loss at UAB Saturday at Bartow Arena.
Jansen matched a season-high 12 kills in the match and served up two aces in the match, but the Trojans (2-4) once again struggled with a strong serving team as UAB (3-2) tallied 10 aces on the evening.
Daedrianna Cail recorded six kills and posted a team-leading .455 hitting percentage.
All four aces for the Trojans took place in the second set with Jansen serving up two, with one and serving up one.
