FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Little Rock slogged its way through the rain and mud Saturday morning, competing at the 30th Annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville. Participating in one of the most prestigious meets of the season, the Trojan women finished 23rd with the Little Rock men placing 30th overall.

The Trojan women finished 23rd among the 51-team field and placed 10th among Division I schools, finishing with 628 total points. Once again, the effort was led by Shanieke Watson, who finished 21st overall among a 424-runner field with a time of 18:01.
