LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock Athletics has announced an alteration to the Trojan men's basketball exhibition scheduled for Thursday, November 1 at the Jack Stephens Center. Little Rock will now hold a Maroon and White scrimmage Thursday instead of the previously scheduled exhibition against LeMoyne-Owen.
The change in schedule was prompted due to an NCAA regulation permitting teams to participate in two preseason events against NCAA four-year institutions prior to the first game of the regular season. Little Rock participated in a pair of productive scrimmages last week leading up to the 2018-19 season.
"Since our team has already participated in two preseason closed scrimmages, NCAA guidelines prohibits a third preseason contest," said Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque.
