ARLINGTON, Texas – The Trojan men's track and field team had two scoring efforts and four qualifications to Sunday's finals in the first two days of the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship at Maverick Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
Isaac Lalang turned in two scoring runs in the first two days of the meet. On Saturday night, Lalang was fourth in the 3K steeplechase, running the race in 9:33.45 in just his second steeplechase of the season.
On Friday night, Lalang took fourth place in the 10K, completing the long distance in 31:01.05 in his first 10K competitive race of the season.
