LAFAYETTE, La. – The Little Rock men's track and field team saw seven points scored in its first two days of competition at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship on Friday and Saturday with Isaac Lalang and Methuselah Lagat accounting for all seven points. The Trojans also had Zodani Francois advance to Sunday's championship race in the 110 hurdles.
Lalang scored the first points of Saturday for Little Rock in the 3K steeplechase, taking fifth in a time of 9:19.16. That mark is a full 11 seconds faster than his previous best at Little Rock and moves him to the sixth-best time in school history.
