PITTSBURG, Kan. – Gabby Ayiteyfio posted the second-best pentathlon score in school history and Jayden Gilbert posted the third-best score as the indoor season got underway for the Trojans at the Boo Rogers Combined Events Friday.
Ayiteyfio tallied 3,404 points, more than 150 points better than her previous best mark, as she finished ninth overall in the competition. That mark ranks second in school history, followed by the 2,669 points that Gilbert scored in the meet. Gilbert's mark ranks third in school history as she finished 26th in the meet.
