NATCHITOCHES, La.- Chandler Fidel was absolutely brilliant Friday night at Northwestern State, but the Trojans couldn't give him any run support as they fell 1-0 to the Demons.
Fidel threw 121 pitches on the night and recorded eight innings without allowing an earned run. The junior only surrendered four hits and punched out six batters in his outing.
Garrett Scott notched three hits including a double, as he was the only source of offense for Little Rock. The rest of the Trojan hitters were 0-for-26 on the night.
After a scoreless first inning, the Trojans found themselves in some trouble when the Demons loaded the bases with one out in the second inning.
