LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock struggled to find the strike zone, falling behind early and couldn't recover in a 10-7 loss to South Alabama in game two of the series on Saturday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field.
The loss evens the series between the two as the Trojans fall to 13-9 in conference play and 24-20 overall. South Alabama improves to 14-8 in the Sun Belt, giving the Jaguars their 26th win on the year. The Trojan loss, coupled with Louisiana's fourth-straight wins, drops Little Rock out of first place in the West Division, a half game behind the Ragin' Cajuns.
