NEW ORLEANS – After averaging 5.5 digs per set and leading Little Rock to its 34th consecutive win over ULM, senior libero Diana Giordani has been named the Sun Belt Conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
Giordani's 5.5 digs per set was among the best defensive marks in the Sun Belt Conference last weekend as she registered 22 digs in Little Rock's 3-0 sweep of ULM in Monroe. In all, Giordani posted 33 total digs, eight assists and served up an ace.
This marks the second time this season Giordani has been named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
