LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Coach Darrell Walker announced the addition of Cougar Downing to the Trojans' basketball program Friday, inking the two-time all-region guard to a National Letter of Intent.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound guard heads to Little Rock after totaling 1,454 points, 269 assists, 95 steals and 25 blocks at the junior college level, twice earning all-region and all-conference honors. He is the second signee for the Trojans that surpassed the 1,000-point threshold in junior college.
"Cougar is an explosive scorer that can shoot with distance," Walker said of his latest addition.
