LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Despite 17 tie scores and its best hitting percentage in a month, Little Rock dropped a close match to UT Arlington in the Trojans' home Sun Belt Conference opener Friday evening.
The 3-0 final score had set scores of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-22. Despite the score, neither team dominated at any one point. After UT Arlington took a six-point lead in the first set – the largest lead any team would see in the match – Little Rock went on a 6-1 run to pull within one and never be put away until the final point was registered.
