LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock sophomore Spencer Cardinal recorded his second win of the year as he won the 8K race at the Little Rock Open at War Memorial Park Saturday morning.
Posting a leading time of 25:21.8, Cardinal won the hilly 8-kilometer race and was one of two top-10 finishers for the Trojans. Aaron Soltmann closely followed, running 26:01.9 to place sixth.
Leading the Trojans in the women's 5K race was Lindsey Hutcheson, who ran 19:33.5. This marked the second straight race the fifth-year transfer from Southeastern Louisiana has led Little Rock's Team.
