MOBILE, Ala. – A 1-under 71 in the opening round of the season for Malena Austerslaat highlighted Little Rock's first day of competition since March at the USA Intercollegiate in Mobile, Alabama.

Austerslaatt's 71 was comprised of 15 pars, two birdies and just one bogey as she opened the round with eight-straight pars before a birdie on the par-four ninth. Five more pars led into her lone bogey of the day on 15, which was quickly equalized with a birdie on 16 with two more pars to end her round.
