LITTLE ROCK – Late game heartbreak strikes again as South Alabama scores an 86th minute goal to win the match 1-0 over the Trojans Friday afternoon in Mobile.
It was a tale of two halves for the Trojans. Little Rock pressed the issue in the first half out shooting the Jaguars 9-3, but neither team could find the net keeping the score 0-0 into halftime. In the second half, South Alabama came out with a sense of urgency and found themselves with ample opportunity to score but the Little Rock defense held strong. Both teams found their chances on net but neither team still could break through.
