JONESBORO, Ark. – Alison Stephens set a pair of personal records at the Red Wolves Open this weekend but Saturday's performance in the discus might have been her most memorable to date.
With a discus throw of 147-0 (44.81m) on her fourth attempt to finish fourth, Stephens broke an eight-year old school record by over three feet, topping a mark of 143-8 (43.80m) recorded by Rebekah Grissom in 2013. In just her freshman outdoor season, it likely won't be the last time she alters Little Rock's record book.
