A young Arizona cross country team will be competing in its season’s first meet in Flagstaff at noon on Saturday. The George Kyte Classic will be the first time for Arizona’s new runners to get experience and clock in times.
When asked how the team was looking in practice, Arizona cross country head coach James Li said, “it’s a little bit unknown because of a really young team.”
One thing Li does know is that the team has a lot of promising, young talent. He is still trying to figure out what the athletes can do and how he can use them.
