Depending on your perspective, this year’s Arizona Wildcats team can be considered a bit of an underdog since not much was expected of it entering the season. With a 4-2 record at the midpoint, though, this team is no longer operating in the shadows.
Yet it is still having to play the role of underdog, at least from a point spread standpoint. VegasInsider.com has Arizona as an 8.5-point dog for its trip to USC on Saturday night, the start of a two-game road trip that could make or break its 2019 season.
USC (3-3, 2-1 Pac-12) and Arizona are part of a four-way tie for first in the South Division, along with ASU (5-1) and Colorado (3-3).
