USC transfer Endyia Rogers commits to Oregon over Arizona

Oregon didn’t beat Arizona on the hardwood last season, but the Ducks have won a key recruiting battle this summer.

USC transfer Endyia Rogers committed to Oregon over the Wildcats on Sunday, just a few days after she concluded her official visit to the UA.

The sophomore point guard will be a big boost to the Ducks’ backcourt. Rogers earned All-Pac-12 honors this season after leading USC in points (14.4), rebounds (4.4) and assists (4.3) per game. She shot 40 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3.

Rogers visited Oregon earlier in the month and came away with a strong impression of the program and head coach Kelly Graves.
