Tucson diver Delaney Schnell qualified for the Tokyo Olympics in two events at the U.S. Diving Olympic Trials in Indianapolis.
Schnell and Jessica Parratto won women's 10-meter synchronized Friday by 41 points over Katrina Young and Murphy Bromberg.
Then on Sunday, she won 10-meter platform by 37 points over Young.
Going into the finals, Schnell trailed Young, Murphy Bromberg and Parrratto. In the third round of the finals, Schnell pulled ahead after scoring 84.15 points on her back 3 ½ somersault tuck.
“It was just consistency throughout," Schnell said. "I didn’t have a very good prelim or semi, but I was on my head.
