Stanford is latest Arizona opponent dealing with significant injuries

Injuries are a major part of college football, and at this point in the season it’s hard to find a team that isn’t hampered by ailments to key players.

The Arizona Wildcats are well aware of this, having had to play their last game minus two starting offensive linemen, while starting (for now) quarterback Khalil Tate and starting running back J.J. Taylor have both missed games due to injury.

“Injuries are not an excuse, we’re not going to use that an excuse in our program, anywhere on this team,” Arizona coach Kevin Sumlin said Monday.
