Even though the biggest story of Sunday afternoon turned out to be Dustin Johnson going head-to-head with the USGA and winning, there was an Arizona flavor to the U.S. Open. Jim Furyk, who hadn’t played much this year, made a late run, and finished tied for second. "I played my heart out today. It was a lot of fun." He ended up three strokes behind Johnson, but it was still fun to watch Furyk play like that again
Shout out to Arizona alum Jim Furyk for his T2 finish at the U.
