Sonoran Hot Reads: Florida eliminated, TCU and Oklahoma State in drivers’ seat at College World Series

For just the third time ever, one conference has both 2-0 teams at the College World Series, and also for the third time ever, the overall No. 1 National Seed went 2-and-Q in Omaha. Tuesday’s action started with a 3-2 win by Texas Tech over Florida, sending the Gators and final SEC team remaining back home. In the nightcap, TCU joined Oklahoma State in the drivers’ seat of their respective brackets, not having to play again until Friday. The Horned Frogs downed Coastal Carolina 6-1, improving to 2-0 in Omaha
