Parker Jackson-Cartwright closer to full strength as Arizona Wildcats head to LA

TUCSON — Parker Jackson-Cartwright might hit the back end of that four- to eight-week recovery window after all — at least in a sense.

While the Arizona junior point guard returned from his high ankle sprain on Dec. 30, just after the four-week mark, he still hasn’t returned to the player the Wildcats really know.

At least as a shooter. In five games since he came back, Jackson-Cartwright has put up a remarkable 6-to-1 assist-turnover ratio (30-to-5), but is shooting only 27.8 percent from the field and has missed all five 3-pointers he has taken.
