Pac-12 Football media day started with opening remarks by the Commissioner Larry Scott. In years past top topics included DIRECTV discussions on broadcasting the Pac-12 Network, safety, Pac-12 After Dark and more. This year included some interesting additional topics such as the Pac-12 policy on Marijuana.

Scott hit the ground running talking about how the Pac-12 broadcast agreements allowed for “High-profile non-conference games will be broadcast on national network TV between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. kickoff times, providing our schools with the most exposure possible to demonstrate the strength of the conference this year.
