The world has been mourning the loss of the ‘Greatest of all Times’ boxer Muhammad Ali and with due cause, he stood up for his beliefs and more. But the community of Oceanside and Wildcats Nation has lost one of their own at an early age of 44 (reports have him at anywhere from 42-45), former offensive lineman Pulu Poumele.
Poumele passed away on June 4, 2016, from a possible brain aneurysm while playing basketball with friends. He left behind his wife Jessica and four children. The whole story is heartbreaking, he had just attended his son’s high school graduation.
