On December 28, 2015, the Austin Spurs announced they picked up Nick Johnson from the available player pool, and he was able to join the team in time for the Spurs road game against the Santa Cruz Warriors last night. Johnson wore the number 31 on the back of his jersey in the first game the Spurs have ever played at the AT&T Center. The Spurs beat Santa Cruz 111-92,
