New Arizona football coach Jed Fisch will earn between $1.8- and $2.3-million annually in base salary over his five-year contract.
The Arizona Board of Regents will review and likely approve Fisch's contract at its Feb. 10-12 meeting.
Fisch will make $1.8 million in his first two years (pro-rated for less than 12 months for year 1). His base salary then increases to $2 million in his third year, $2.2 million in year 4 and $2.3 million in year 5.
He also will receive $500,000 annually for media and promotional duties and is eligible for a retetion bonus of $400,000 to be paid if he still is at UA as of Nov.
