Andy Lopez, who retired as the Arizona Wildcats baseball coach in May, will join four other individuals and four swimming relay teams as the new inductees into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame, the school announced Thursday.
Joining Lopez in the class are two former UA baseball stars — David Baldwin and Trevor Crowe — as well as NCAA champion golfer Susan Slaughter and the late Erica Blasberg, a two-time first-team golf All-American. The school will also honor four NCAA champion relay teams — 800 freestyle (2007), 800 freestyle (2008), 400 freestyle (2008) and 400 medley (2008).
