Khalil Tate pulled early in Arizona Wildcats' blowout loss at Utah

Arizona Wildcats quarterback Khalil Tate was replaced at quarterback by true freshman Jamarye Joiner from Vail Cienega High School on Arizona's first possession of the second quarter Friday night in Salt Lake City. Joiner didn't do much before getting benched for Rhett Rodriguez.

None of the quaterback juggling mattered as Utah ran out to a 28-0 halftime lead and never looked back, beating the Wildcats 42-10.

On the Wildcats’ second possession, Chase Hansen sacked Tate, who came up limping, appearing to favor the left ankle that has bothered him for much of the season.

The Wildcats (3-4 overall, 2-2 Pac-12) were down 14-0 after the first quarter and trailed in time of possession 11:45 to 3:15.
