Nico Mannion declared for the NBA draft earlier this week.
On Friday, his University of Arizona backcourtmate Josh Green did the same, announcing it on social media, saying, "Can't wait for the next chapter..."
Green began his high school basketball career in the Valley, starring his freshman year at Glendale Mountain Ridge, before transferring to national high school program Hillcrest Prep. He finished his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida, where he became a McDonald's All-American.
Mannion played just three years in high school, all at Phoenix Pinnacle, reclassifying a year early, leading the Pioneers to back-to-back state championships, before playing only one year at Arizona, along with Green.
