STANFORD, Calif. – Arizona knifed through Stanford with its most efficient offense of the season, blowing out the Cardinal 91-52 before a mild crowd of about 3,500 fans at Maples Pavilion.
The Wildcats shot 62.5 percent from the field, hit 10 of 14 3-pointers and made 21 of 23 free throws. The 3-point percentage of 71.4 was a season high, as was the 91.3 percent mark from the line, while the overall field-goal percentage was second only to the 63.2 percent UA put up in an 85-63 win over Texas Southern.
UA's 39-point margin of victory was also a season high, surpassing a 31-point win over New Mexico and a 30-point win over Sacred Heart.
