Jessie Harper, Ivy Davis and Marissa Schuld went deep and Alyssa Denham twirled a one-hit shutout as Arizona softball cruised to a 10-0 victory over San Diego State on Friday at the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs.
Arizona (11-2) will complete Friday’s doubleheader vs. No. 7 Florida this afternoon. First pitch was originally set for 1:30 p.m. MST, but things are running a bit behind schedule.
Reyna Carranco went 2 for 4 with an RBI single in the third and Sharlize Palacios tacked on a run later in the frame with a sacrifice fly to center.
