Amid the already depressing state of things, with no sports, limited social interactions, etc. there’s even more bad news as former Arizona gradute and donor David Lowell has passed away at the age of 92.
The news of Lowell’s death made the rounds via social media last night, and it’s certainly upsetting to fans.
As you may recall, David has been a major supporter of Arizona Athletics often seen at games in Tucson, and more specifically he was a big supporter of the Arizona Football program.
Prior to Rich Rodriguez’s arrival, Arizona Football was in desperate need of some facility upgrades, and he and his wife Edith generously donated money that went towards the Lowell-Stevens Football Facility that’s now in part been named after the both of them of course.
