Defensive lineman Adam Plant Jr. will not be joining the Arizona Wildcats after all, his father announced early Tuesday morning on Instagram.
Plant was three-star recruit in the 2018 class. He was UA’s third-highest ranked prospect, per 247Sports, only behind quarterbacks Kevin Doyle and Jamarye Joiner.
“We have made other plans, so to everyone (at Arizona) my son, myself and family are extremely appreciative of the opportunity of my son had at Arizona unfortunately my son will not be attending anymore,” Plant’s father said on Instagram.
“We have our reasons but we greatly appreciate the coaching staff, the wonderful people of Tucson and especially (David Hill) for all the great help.
