Now just two days in, all three of those teams have losses.
No. 3 National Seed Miami was taken down by Arizona 5-1 on Saturday, which is still the largest margin of victory of any game in the CWS so far.
Sunday’s games started with No. 5 Texas Tech taking on Big 12 foe TCU. The Red Raiders actually took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth, and it looked like they were going to move on in the winners’ bracket.
