Chris Rounds to remain as Arizona men’s basketball’s strength coach

Tommy Lloyd is hanging on to another member of Sean Miller’s staff, retaining strength and conditioning coordinator Chris Rounds.

The 2021-22 season will be the 12th at Arizona for Rounds, who was Miller’s strength and conditioning coach at Xavier from 2004-09 before joining him in Tucson. He also served as Loyola Marymount’s strength coach from 2000-04 and was an assistant strength coach at Kentucky 1997-2000, winning a national championship with the Wildcats in 1998.

Rounds joins associate head coach Jack Murphy and assistant Jason Terry as holdovers from the Miller era.
