Former Arizona Wildcats standouts Chance Comanche and Nick Johnson are two of about 40 players participating in the NBA G League’s ninth-annual Elite Mini Camp this week in Chicago.
The two-day scouting event — held May 14 and 15 — “offers standouts from this past season another chance to showcase their talents in front of NBA team personnel, before NBA Summer League and 2018 training camps,” according to the G League’s website.
A strong showing can lead to a ticket to NBA Summer League or perhaps even an invite to an NBA training camp.
