Dean Jones, a 2020 recruit who plays both wide receiver and defensive back and has committed to BYU, will be visiting Arizona Football this weekend and attending the NAU game. Jones stands 6-foot-3 and weighs lbs and has earned a 4.4 GPA while attending High School.
Jones announced his commitment to BYU on June 18, 2019. According to AZ Central, while attending North Canyon High School in Junior year, “He played strong safety, recording 25 tackles, 19 solo, with an interception and 10 pass breakups as a junior.” The site also said that Jones chose BYU for the camaraderie of the team and coaches, and the faith the coaches had in him.
