Football is nearly back, and I am excited! Khalil Tate returns, Kevin Sumlin takes over a pretty talented group, and that’s why Athlon Sports picked Arizona to finish third in the South in its preseason predictions.
Since it’s never too early to start making predictions, Athlon released there’s back in January. Their thoughts? Well, they are picking the Wildcats to finish third in the Pac-12 South.
Seems pretty fair. Arizona is coming off a 7-6 season a Bowl Game loss to Purdue. The Wildcats don’t lose too many pieces, and return perhaps their most important player in Tate.
